After rebranding from Mountain Dew Rise, Mountain Dew Energy was looking to make a comeback. Although already launched, the numbers were not where client wanted them. The Pepsi team was asked to relaunch Mountain Dew Energy (or MDE for short) specifically on TikTok. Although the TikTok audience is very large, the general demographic of teens and young adults where who Mountain Dew wanted to reach. MDE is not like Red Bull or Monster Energy, used for crazy stunts and an active lifestyle. MDE is for the “Average Joe” who needs to find focus for everyday tasks.
